Bella Gutshtein has been making music from the age of six. She was born In St. Petersburg Russia where she received her first master’s degree in music performance, vocal coaching and teaching from St. Petersburg Conservatory. She received her second master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music in New York City. Since moving to Naples in 2001, she has performed as a soloist and chamber music pianist in numerous venues, including the Sypert and Wang Chamber music series at Artis Naples. She is also a music educator and has been teaching music performance and appreciation throughout most of her career. Bella is also a founder and Artistic Director of Estero Concert Series, through which she creates innovative, multidimensional chamber music and art programs. Together with her husband Boris Sandler, she is also a cofounder and artistic director of Camerata of Naples Chamber Orchestra.
Violinist Daniela Shtereva was born in Bulgaria, into a family with preserved musical tradition for five generations. She made her debut with orchestra at the age of six and within ten years she toured most countries in Europe. Daniela holds a specialized diploma from the High School of music “Dobrin Petkov” in Plovdiv and a Bachelors degree from the National Conservatory of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria. She came to the United States to further her education gaining Masters in music from Louisiana State University and an Artist Diploma certificate from Carnegie Mellon University. Daniela became prizewinner of number of competitions, including winning first prize at the Washington International String Competition in 2006 where her playing was described as “shot through with fantasy and fire”. She has appeared in concerts from Kennedy Center to Seattle Chamber Music Festival. Her recordings are archived for the Bulgarian National Television and Radio, she has produced five CD albums for Music Minus One, and recently she released two CDs in Naples: “The beauty of a violin and piano” and “Angels’ dreams“. She has also led the Omaha symphony as a concertmaster, the Tulsa Opera and Pittsburgh Opera Theater. Miss Shtereva is now a full time member of the Naples Philharmonic since 2008 (David and Cecile Wang chair) and she engages in private teaching and numerous recitals in Naples area. Daniela performs on an 1850 French violin and bow purchased for her from generous investors in the Naples area.
